Canadian TULIP Festival

TULIP Festival – OTTAWA

May is the month of the Canadian Tulip Festival, which started in 1953. It was established to celebrate the historic Royal gift of tulips. The Dutch gave these tulips to Canadians immediately after the Second World War as a gesture of friendship.

The festival is centred around Commissioners Park. It features many fun activities for the whole family. These include tours, entertainment, and even fireworks. Much of it is free!

Address: The Horticulture, 1525 Princess Patricia Way Building, 203, Ottawa, ON K1S 5J3
